John H. Balch, RPh, President of The PharmaCare Network, is pleased to announce the organization’s expansion into the Frostburg community. PharmaCare of Frostburg opened its doors on Wednesday, October 11th, at the former Medicine Shoppe location.

Mr. Balch stated, "We are excited about this opportunity to bring PharmaCare to an established organization, and build on the trust and respect that this professional pharmacy team has in place." Mr. Balch, RPh continued, "It is our intent to offer the citizens of Frostburg and surrounding communities quality products with exceptional personal service. We’ve been an independent pharmacy for 29 years, and am very fortunate to continue this business in Frostburg."

PharmaCare plans to enhance the current products and services offered at this Frostburg location. Prescription and over-the-counter medications, along with home healthcare products and other related products will be the focus for all patients. Telephone refills and delivery service are among the customer conveniences that will continue.

Customers will be very happy to see the same professional staff at the store, with the addition of Keith Pirolozzi, PharmD who will oversee the operation. When asked about this new opportunity Keith stated "I am excited to be working with such a competent and devoted staff. We will be working together to meet the customers healthcare needs." Mr. Pirolozzi continued, "We have been successful in the Cumberland community, and will continue that same practice with the residents of Frostburg."

PharmaCare of Frostburg’s hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, and Saturday, 9am to 1pm. The phone number will remain the same at 301-689-9961.

• DME/HME - We offer durable home medical equipment (oxygen, wheelchairs, hospital beds, etc.) and home medical supplies (diabetic supplies, asthma supplies, etc.) which helps customers live safe, active and independent lifestyles.
• PharmaCare Floral & Gift Shoppe - We provide unique and thoughtful floral arrangements, gifts and balloons. We are an authorized Teleflora and FTD florist.
• PharmacarePC - We provide wireless Internet access primarily to businesses in Cumberland, MD, as well as customized programming, hardware and software integration, networking services, and data-driven web design.
